The room was spacious. The stairs to get to the 4th floor were a killer! The lift only goes to floor 2 but we only used it once as that was an experience in its self! The breakfast was awful and didn’t eat breakfast for the 2 days we were there (not worth adding breakfast on)

Quarto superou as minhas expectativas depois de todas as reviews negativas que tinha lido até à data. Outrora 4 estrelas, neste momento deveria ser reajustado para um hotel de 2/3 estrelas devido às obras de manuten??o que s?o evidentes em alguns pontos do edíficio/quartos, no entanto a estadia foi perfeitamente cómoda e sem grandes pontos de desagrado.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel itself is outdated, and the elevator was extremely old-fashioned and often unreliable. We booked two rooms but received one very small room and one larger room. Neither room had a phone to contact the reception, and we were left to sleep with an open window on the first night. This issue was only resolved after a firm conversation with the reception staff.
The safe in the room did not work, and despite my complaints from day one, nothing was done to fix it.
Breakfast consisted of bread with cold cuts and nothing more. It was passable but not impressive.
I would advise you to look for another hotel.

The location is hard to beat, but hotel itself is on it's last legs. The interior is dated and worn out, there is no lift to the upper floors, and my personal highight was finding a dead pigoen hanging in the anti bird netting straight outside my bedroom window.
