A great hotel, good position, friendly concierge and a good breakfast

Reservé este hotel en esta página porque vi la mayoría de comentarios positivos pero cuando buscamos rese?as en Google ya íbamos con miedo. Realmente el hotel está súper abandonado, nuestra habitación tenía la ventana rota, el aire acondicionado roto, agujeros en una butaca... Un largo etc. NO ES UN 4 ESTRELLAS Para solucionar el frío nos trajo una estufa eléctrica, aunque dentro de los comentarios que he llegado a ver, hemos sido afortunados. El desayuno no lo paguéis es horroroso!, súper cutre, ponen un termo con agua y otro con café...Pagué 3 dias de desayuno y ni lo tomamos al segundo día cuando vimos lo que era. La parte buena es la ubicación, súper bien comunicado, un barrio tranquilo y bueno, hay cerca un Tesco, paradas de bus, de metro y eso es genial por lo demás, una pena que tengan el hotel en esas condiciones porque restaurado sería maravilloso.

Bellissimo posto in una location stupenda nel cuore di Londra molto tranquilla e residenziale. Per essere un 4 stelle, c’è da migliorare solo la pulizia e la dotazione delle camere (no frigo bar, no scopino per il water, pochi detergenti per la pulizia della persona). Il ristorante all’interno è molto carino e il personale molto gentile e disponibile

Bel posto, situato in una zona residenziale tranquilla e a pochi metri dalla metropolitana e da diverse linee di autobus. Nei dintorni ci sono anche posti dove fare colazione e mangiare, oltre a un supermercato aperto 24 ore su 24 a pochi isolati di distanza.
Il servizio di pulizia è eccellente, i receptionist sono molto gentili e il complesso è confortevole. Ci tornerei senza dubbio

Booked to stay at the hotel for a couple of nights with breakfast. The location is superb and is minutes from the tube. The area is lovely with restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes walk. We had a meal at Da Daniela which was lovely Italian and an Indian at chokra which was also spot on. Both minutes away from the hotel
The hotel was very reasonable price wise for the area
The reviews were not great when my wife started looking after we had booked and so we had a little apprehension of the stay however the hotel wasn’t as bad as these suggested. I have to agree that the hotel was tired looking in places and our room was in need of some tlc but it was perfectly okay for the stay and I would consider staying there again in spite of this
Only gripes from me really was that out TV didn’t work (although Netflix did so okay if you have a Netflix account ) and the breakfast was a continental and not a hot breakfast as it seemed to auggest when initially booking
You can buy hot breakfasts to order but if you select breakfast when booking then you only get continental. The selection was pretty basic but it was okay generally - toast, yogurt, fruit; cereal and some cold meats / cheese etc with bread. Also some pastries and small muffins so I was pretty full once I had finished
The staff at the hotel were friendly and polite and allowed us to keep our bags there having arrived before check in which was useful for us.
If you want a grand 4* hotel then this hotel isn’t that (it may have been back in its day) but for the price we paid and the location I think it was good. It is in the city of Westminster area and hotels would be much more I suspect if you looked around so you have to be realistic with expectations.
For information We paid around ￡200 for two nights with breakfast.

Had a lovely stay we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite for free which was amazing great location & free off street parking at weekends, great history about the hotel breakfast was disappointing as only continental was offered, was looking forward to a cooked full English, breakfast is normally charged at ￡15 per person which is not worth the money. I would rather find somewhere local & have breakfast there. The hotel did also look a little tired in places which was a shame considering where it’s located.
